Ludo vs Adrian

This is a complete no brainer for me as Adrian isn't in the same kind class as Ludo was but there's a poll running on TWITTER and Adrian is winning hands down.
I saw both, maybe some didn't?
Adrian COULD be if he improves but is too erratic for me.

Ludo was a superb keeper, I would imagine the Twitter generation mostly never saw him play live. Deffo Ludo for me, he was immense for us and could easily have played for a far more successful team and earned a lot more.

Let's not forget, Ludo was prone to odd clanger towards the end of his career

I always felt Ludo tailed off a little after his first two unbelievable seasons
Have never seen a a keeper play as consistantly well as him in our promotion year
However he did always have a mistake in him, far more than we've seen with Adrian

Totally agree Trveor, Adrian is nowhere near as good when comparing.
Ludo won Blackbun the league, but I felt he declined badly towards the end

Ludo probably rescued at least 12 points for us that promotion season. He made some outrageous saves that year. Sheffield Wednesday and Oldham away spring to mind.
Not sure if Adrian can be credited with anything similar yet.

and so may adrian mallard, but i thikn we should be comparing them around their prime simply because that should roughly be where adrian is about now.

Adrian's already saved us a good few points this season. I think on the whole he's been excellent.

Lido played 318 times for us an so far Adrian has played 70 odd times. Will he prove as good and as long lasting as Ludo is the question?
Adrian does take a good penalty.

Les Sealey's display against Newcastle when they absolutely battered us is still one of the best GK displays for me.

I loved Ludo to bits but he WAS guilty of the occasional howler. I was at Tranmere on one Friday evening during a 5-2 loss when he made two mistakes, including one where he spooned the ball up in the area trying to make a clearance, which they scored from.
Parkesie is still my all-time number one West Ham keeper.

Les Sealeys son took my place in the team at Buckhurst Hill Boys FC when he signed for West Ham.

Loved Ludo but he was capable of the odd clanger! At first I thought Adrian was ok and played the fans well but he's won me over now. Top keeper.
